Preciosa Strings & Chamber Orchestra is a unique comprehensive program for strings and full chamber orchestra winds, brass and percussion instrumentalists who have a desire to pursue music as a career, secondary area in college, or university and for personal development.  Students in these two leveled ensembles (one for beginning/intermediate string players, and the other for intermediate/advanced strings, winds, and brass and percussion players) will learn specific genre techniques of solo, chamber music, and orchestral repertoire in an enjoyable, nurturing and challenging environment.  Students in Preciosa Strings and Chamber Orchestra will also study a variety of core college topics to cultivate music skills for greater independence and competence in performing solo, chamber music, orchestral repertoire and conducting.
